
Lava
 has launched the all new Iris Pro 30+, an upgraded version of the Iris 
Pro 30, for Rs 11,990. Available in black, the Iris Pro 30+ will hit 
stores starting August 26.
The
 smartphone sports a 4.7-inch IPS HD display with a 1280×720 pixel 
resolution, and a pixel density that goes up to 312 ppi. The display is 
is protected by a layer of Asahi Dragontrail Glass. The screen features 
OGS (one glass solution) to reduce the thickness of the phone to 7.9 mm 
and it weighs a mere 116 grams.
The
 dual-SIM device comes powered by a 1.5 Ghz quad-core Mediatek processor
 coupled with 1GB RAM, along with PowerVR SGX544 GPU clocked at 357MHz. 
The 16GB onboard storage can be expanded up to 32GB.
The
 Iris Pro 30+ comes fitted with a 13-megapixel rear auto-focus camera, 
and BSI II sensor with a size of 1/3.2 inch and 1.1 micron Omni BSI-II 
pixel architecture.  It supports full HD as well as HD video recording 
and playback. The front camera (for video calling and obviously, 
selfies) is 3-megapixels.
The
 smartphone runs a rather older Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version and the
 connectivity options include 3G, EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and 
OTG. Some additional features include flip to mute, face and voice 
unlock and video picture in picture. All of this is fuelled by a 2000 
mAh battery.

 Iris Pro 30+ will be available across all national retail stores and 
multi-brand outlets in India. It can also be grabbed exclusively from 
Amazon.in along with a free 16GB memory card.
