
After
 launching the budget smartphone Lenovo A6000 in India at Rs 6,999, the 
company has now launched a new variant for the same. Dubbed Lenovo A6000
 Plus, the smartphone is identical to the A6000 but with a few minor 
tweaks in terms of specifications. The Lenovo A6000 Plus is priced at 
Rs.7,499 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart. Registrations 
for the phone will open today from 2PM onward and it will go on sale on 
April 28.
The
 new Lenovo A6000 Plus is exactly alike to the A6000 but includes 2GB 
RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage as compared to the Lenovo A6000’s 1GB RAM 
and 8GB inbuilt storage.

with the positive response from consumers for the A6000 and that 
triggered us at Lenovo to further enhance the multitasking capabilities 
of the device making it the best future-proof smartphone and offer 
superior experience to the millennials.” He adds, “The A6000 Plus is a 
great value for money device with cutting-edge technology and 
distinctive features.”
In
 terms of specifications, the device features a  5-inch HD IPS display 
with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz 
quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. The dual-SIM device runs 
Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with the company’s own Vibe 2.0 skin
 on top. The smartphone sports a 8MP rear autofocus camera with LED 
flash along with a 2MP front-facing camera.
The
 smartphone also comes equipped with dual speakers which use Dolby 
Digital Plus sound technology. The device is backed by a 2,300mAh 
battery and the company states that the device will deliver 11 days of 
standby time on 2G/ 3G, and up to 22 hours of talk-time on 2G and 13 
hours on 3G.
