Soon
after the Intex Aqua Speed priced at Rs 7,444, the company has launched
a new budget smartphone dubbed Aqua Speed HD at Rs 8,999.
In
terms of specifications, the new smartphone features a 4.7-inch HD IPS
display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It uses a Asahi Dragontrail
glass for protection. The device comes powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core
MediaTek processor paired with Mali-400 GPU and 2GB RAM.
On
the storage front, the device gets 16GB onboard storage that can be
further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The Intex Aqua Speed HD
also packs in an 8MP auto-focus camera with LED flash along with a 5MP
front-facing camera. The device runs rather older Android 4.4 KitKat
out-of-the-box. The Intex Aqua Speed HD is 8.95mm thick and weighs 120
grams.
In
terms of connectivity, the dual-SIM smartphone includes support for 3G,
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, and GPS. It is powered by a 1,700mAh
battery and comes in three variants namely white, silver and Sea Blue.
