Chinese CEO equates Apple to Hitler

Chinese CEO equates Apple to Hitler
Chinese billionaire, Jia Yueting, who is also the founder and CEO of internet video site Leshi TV (LeTV), has compared Apple to Hitler. While teasing the launch of LeTV’s new smartphone on his Weibo account, Yueting has posted an image equating Apple to Hitler.
The post shows a cartoon of Adolf Hitler who is seen wearing an armband commonly worn by Nazis. However, the Nazi’s swastika symbol has been replaced by the Apple logo.
“The Hitler-esque character is standing in front of yellow caution tape, opposite a group of smiling kids on a backdrop of sunshine and wind turbines, who are meant to represent the Andriod OS,” suggests Mashable.
The image also has some text in Chinese. The headline reportedly reads, “Freedom vs. Arrogance” and is followed by some more text that says, “How can we change so that we can improve the industry?”
LeTV’s upcoming smartphone will run Android and is expected to come with 4GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch display, and a reversible USB Type-C port.
