Microsoft launched one of its most affordable Internet-ready phone — Nokia 215 dual SIM — in India for Rs 2,149.
The
device provides access to popular web content with Opera Mini Browser,
Bing Search, MSN Weather and Twitter and allows users to stay connected
with Facebook and Messenger with instant notifications, Microsoft
Devices said in a statement.
The device has a 2.4-inch display, VGA camera, expandable memory of up to 32 GB and 1100 mAh battery.
“India
is a ‘mobile-first’ market, and feature phones are the first port of
access to internet for a large number of mobile users. Microsoft remains
dedicated to driving innovation and introducing phones to first-time
mobile phone users,” Nokia India Sales (a Microsoft Mobiles Oy
subsidiary) Director Marketing Raghuvesh Sarup said.
