Micromax
has announced the Canvas Juice 2 in India for Rs 8,999. It retains the
same 3000mAh battery, seen in its popular successor Canvas Juice.
Needless
to say, the highlight of the device is its large 3000mAh battery that
promises to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 18 days of
standby time.
The
Canvas Juice 2 is a dual-SIM smartphone with a 5-inch HD IPS display
with 720 x 1280 pixels of resolution. Micromax adds a layer of Corning
Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It also runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop
iteration.
Under
the hood, it comes powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and an
unspecified chipset, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It also gets 8GB of
onboard storage, further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
This is an upgrade from the 1GB RAM and 4GB onboard storage seen in its
predecessor.
On
the camera front, it gets 8MP rear snapper with autofocus and LED flash
and 2MP front-facing camera. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE and 3G.
Dipped in silver, the smartphone will be available via online and offline stores starting today.
