Microsoft
enters the low-cost mobile segment with the Internet-ready Nokia 215.
The Dual SIM feature phone has been listed on the company website for an
affordable Rs 2,149.
Basically, it is the dual SIM variant of the Nokia 215 that was launched last month. Both slots support micro SIMs.
Let’s
quickly run through the specs. For that price, users get a 2.4-inch
QVGA (240×320 pixels) LCD display with a pixel density of 166ppi. It
comes with a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB storage, and
runs Series 30+ operating system.
The
feature phone also supports Bluetooth 3.0 and GPRS. On the camera
front, expect a 0.3-megapixel fixed-focus camera. The 215 Dual SIM comes
with Opera Mini Browser and Bing Search pre-installed. Like most
low-end phones, it has a built-in torchlight and also includes stereo FM
radio.

1100mAh removable battery completes the package, promising to deliver
up to 21 days of standby time and up to 20 hours of talk time on 2G
networks.
