
Apple has reportedly started inviting users to test their upcoming iOS update for the very first time.
The
 company launched a page online where can sign up to try the new iOS 8.3
 before it is released later this year. Users will need to install a 
package file onto their iPhone which will firstly, clear the device for 
beta software.
According
 to a report by The Verge, the iPhone maker gained valuable feedback 
when it ran a public beta of OS X on the desktop. It now aims to extend 
this program to cover iOS as well. The current version – iOS 8.2 was 
released after the Apple Watch event last week and also added support 
for the company’s latest wearable.
Apart
 from bug fixes, the new iOS 8.3 version will include new emojis, 
wireless CarPlay and easier logins for Google users. As this is a beta 
version, users are likely run into some glitches and bugs that will not 
be present in the final version when it is released. An earlier report 
had said that the public beta program for iOS will be limited to 100,000
 people to maintain a higher level of exclusivity.
On
 the other hand, the upcoming iOS 9 is rumoured to focus on stability, 
optimisations and not just feature additions. iOS 9 will be first shown 
during Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June (WWDC) and 
released in September for the public after the new iPhones are unveiled.
