Sony
has launched its Xperia E4 Dual budget smartphone in India for Rs
12,190. It is up for grabs via Sony Center stores and leading
electronics stores.
The
dual-SIM Xperia E4 sports a 5-inch display with a qHD resolution of 960
x 540 pixels. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6582 SoC which has a 1.3GHz
quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of
internal storage which can be expanded using the microSD card slot. It
will run rather older Android 4.4.4 KitKat. There is no word on the
availability of the single SIM variant.
On
the camera front, you will get a 5MP shooter with a 2MP front-facing
camera. It will come with features such as Timeshift Burst, Sound Photo,
Live of YouTube, Social Live, Portrait Retouch and more. The
front-facing camera will come with a dedicated selfie app.
Sony
has added a 2,300 mAh battery, which the company claims can last up to
two days, a claim we can verify only after testing the phone. Sony also
claims that its Ultra Stamina mode, which only turns on the most
essential features, can make the phone last for up to a full week.
