Samsung is just a few weeks away from unveiling its next flagship smartphone.
The company sent out invitations to members of the media Monday for a March 1 "Samsung Galaxy Unpacked" event in Barcelona.
The
invitation was short on detail, but promised to show "what's next" for
the Galaxy line. The event will take place during the Mobile World
Congress in Barcelona, which is where the previous flagship, the Galaxy
S5, was also launched.
The company will also livestream the event on YouTube.
Though
Samsung hasn't said what's on the agenda for the event, the company
will likely reveal the Galaxy S6 — which will reportedly sport some
significant design changes compared with previous models.
One
recent report suggests the Galaxy S6 will come in two models: one with a
metal body and one with a curved display — much like Galaxy Note Edge.
Samsung
will also reveal a new smartwatch with a round display during Mobile
World Congress, according to the same report, though it's not yet clear
if that will be revealed during the same event.
